ComeToBuy, Inc. originated the "Zero New Cost" marketing model as a mechanism for mail order companies to establish an e-commerce sales presence on the Internet. The company developed the "Point of Presence" concept to create a rapid and inexpensive gateway to the Internet when clients looked to develop a web presence due to developing technology and an increased dependence on the Internet as an informational resource.
ComeToBuy, Inc. developed to provide informational web development services in addition to the e-commerce services that helped the company establish an initial client base. Because the shift was no longer representative of the initial "Come To Buy" e-commerce strategy, the working name of the company was shortened to CTB, Inc. CTB, Inc. has evolved to provide software development services, business application development services, as well as technical and business consulting services.
